Seniors Connecting at Knox is a new ministry which began on April 24th, 2014. It is scheduled as a monthly event on the last Thursday of each month, (except July and August). Seniors Connecting at Knox, will include such things as:

A hot homemade soup/sandwich/dessert lunch (no set fee however donations will be appreciated), and games, fellowship time, crafts, music, speakers, friendly supporters, dietary education, food preparation advice, introduction to community resources appropriate for seniors, and a Nurse and Doctor will be present at times (without charge), to check blood pressure, answers health questions (refer for follow-up as needed).

It is my prayer that with the participation of our Knox seniors, and volunteers (of any age), many of the seniors who are not part of an ongoing, caring community or fellowship will find these here at Knox regardless of what connection they may or may not have to any Church.

The focus and mandate of this ministry is to welcome seniors and to support them in such ways as to enrich their quality of life, and trust they will experience the love of God in and through the caring of the Knox Church family.
